CEREALS NORTH AMERICA TERMS & CONDITIONS Cereals North America is owned by AgResource Conferences Pty Ltd. The following terms & conditions apply:

1. Payments

All registration fees associated with Cereals North America must be paid in full to guarantee attendance.

2. Early Booking Rates

In order to qualify for any early booking rate promotions, booking and payment must be received before the deadline date listed in the conference marketing materials.

3. Multiple Delegate Booking Rates

In order to qualify for any multiple delegate booking rate promotions, all attendees required to qualify for promotion must register at the same time, otherwise this promotion will not be applied to registrations.

4. Promotional Codes

All promotional discount codes will expire on the 31st March (of given year). After this date, there will be no promotional discounts available, and the codes will no longer work.

5. Substitutions & Cancellations

Delegates may nominate an alternative person from their organisation to attend up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event, at no extra charge.Should substitution not be possible, cancellation charges apply as follows:

Cancellations made prior to 31st March: a 20% administration fee will be charged.

Cancellations made after 31st March: delegates fees must be paid in full

Please note: in the event that a registration is cancelled after 1st March and the associated invoice has yet to have been paid, the invoice (and associated fees) still remains 100% payable according to these terms & conditions.

6. Access Requirements

Delegates should advise of any special access requirements at the time of registration. Please contact us as soon as possible with requirements.

7. Registration Information

Registration information will be sent to registered delegates by email at least seven days prior to the event. Any delegate not receiving the registration information should contact us by email to office@cerealsaus.com. A delegate who has completed the registration procedures and who has received confirmation of acceptance as a delegate, is a registered delegate (herineafter referred to as “Delegate”).

8. Alterations to Programme – Cancellation/Postponement of Event

AgResource Conferences reserves the right to make alterations to the conference programme, venue and timings.

In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled by AgResource Conferences, a full refund will be made. Liability will be limited to the amount of the registration fee paid by the delegate.
If, for whatever reason, the conference is postponed or the dates are changed, AgResource Conferences shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate.
If, despite re-arrangement and/or postponement, the event can take place, the registration between the delegate and the organisers shall remain in force and will be subject to the cancellation schedule in section 3.

9. Speakers

Views expressed by speakers are their own. AgResource Conferences cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.

10. Data Protection

By submitting registration details, Delegates agree to allow AgResource Conferences and companies associated with the conference to contact them regarding their services.
The contact details of Delegates will be placed on the attendee list which will be passed to sponsoring companies and to all attendees for them to see who is at the conference for the purpose of networking and meetings.

In particular, contact details will be available in the Cereals North America catalogue.

11. Websites & Links
The conference and associated AgResource Conferences websites may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which AgResource Conferences takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website.

12. Insurance

It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. AgResource Conferences cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.

13. Accreditation of Journalists

A press accreditation gives access to, and participation in, Cereals North America Conference and Exhibition, which takes place in Melbourne at the end of April. It is granted to journalists, film crews and photographers according to these rules.

Accreditation is granted only (i) by written approval from the Cereals North America organizers and (ii) upon acknowledgement, receipt and acceptance of this form by those wishing to be accredited. Only with written agreement in reply to this email may journalists, film crews and photographers work at the Cereals North America event taking place at the Crown Conference Centre on 29/30 April . The organizers reserve the right to withdraw accreditation at any time.

“Chatham House Rules” will generally apply throughout the Cereals North America event. These rules mean that whilst journalists are free to use the information received, journalists are not permitted to disclose the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant unless specific approval has been granted by the speaker/participant in advance of attribution.

14. Filming at Cereals North America

Upon registration, Delegates grant to the AgResource Conferences Pty Ltd (“AgResource Conferences”) and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and assigns: (a) the right (but not the obligation) to film, photograph and otherwise visually and audiovisually record me and to record my voice, conversations, sounds and performances, and any pre-­‐existing materials furnished by me (“Pre-­‐existing Materials”) in and in connection with the Footage; (b) all rights of every kind and character whatsoever (including without limitation copyrights) in and to the results and proceeds of my appearance in the Footage including, without limitation, all film, photographs and video and audio recordings produced by AgResource Conferences in connection therewith (collectively “Recordings”), any and all performances, stories, statements or actions made by me, whether written, spoken, sung, or otherwise uttered or expressed by me, or information given by me, captured on any such Recordings (collectively the “Results and Proceeds”).

AgResource Conferences shall be the exclusive owner(s) of the Footage and the Results and Proceeds giving them the right to, without limitation, in perpetuity throughout the universe, in any and all languages, in any and all media know known or hereafter invented: (a) exhibit, broadcast, use, reproduce and license others to use as they see fit all or any part of the Footage and/or the Results and Proceeds; (b) edit, dub, subtract from, add to or modify the Results and Proceeds in any manner, combine it with any other material and/or incorporate it into other films, projects or programs; and (c) use and license others to use my name, voice, likeness, image, photograph, performance, participation, expressions, personal experiences and biographical material (collectively “Name and Likeness”), in and in connection with the production, distribution, advertising, publicity, promotion, exhibition and other exploitation of the Footage, the Results and Proceeds and/or any portion thereof, and in connection with AgResource Conferences or AgResource Conferences’s products and services, an unlimited number of times, without any obligation of any kind to me whatsoever.

Delegates hereby expressly waive any and all so-­‐called “moral rights” or “droits morale” in connection with the Footage, Results and Proceeds, of delegate appearance(s) in the Footage.

Delegates represent that appearance in the Footage (and my furnishing of Pre-­-
existing Materials, if any) will not to the best of the knowledge of the delegate (i.e., what the delegate knows or should know after the exercise of reasonable prudence) infringe upon the rights of any third party. I represent and warrant that I have all rights and authority to enter into this Waiver and Release (“Release”) and to grant the rights granted herein. No other authorization is necessary to enable AgResource Conferences to use the Name and Likeness of the Delegate, the Results and Proceeds and/or the Pre-­‐existing Materials (if any), for the purposes herein contemplated. The Delegate hereby waives any right of inspection or approval of the Results and Proceeds, the Footage, my Name and Likeness and/or the uses to which such Results and Proceeds, the Footage and/or my Name and Likeness may be put.

As used in this Release: (a) the term “Releasing Parties” means and refers to the Delegate, his or her heirs, next of kin, spouse, spousal equivalent, guardians, legal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns; and (b) the term “Released Parties” means and refers to Filmmaker and AgResource Conferences, its subsidiaries , related and affiliated companies, licensees, sponsors, successors and assigns, and the directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, partners, shareholders, representatives and members of each of the foregoing entities.

15. Personal and Public Liability

Delegates voluntarily assume any and all risks, known or unknown, associated with participation in the Cereals North America and actions and undertakings in connection with the Cereals North America (collectively “the Delegate Participation”). Delegates acknowledge that Delegate Participation may present certain risks to me, and by accepting these terms and conditions, Delegates hereby assume any and all risks associated therewith, including, without limitation, the risk of physical or mental or emotional injury, minor and/or severe bodily harm, and/or illness, which arise by any means, including, without limitation: acts, omissions, recommendations or advice given by AgResource Conferences or their agents, employees, or other persons or entities affiliated with Cereals North America.

Delegates voluntarily and knowingly, release, discharge and relinquish any and all claims, actions and lawsuits of any kind against the Released Parties related to or arising from the Delegate Participation, including, without limitation, including, without limitation, any claims, actions or lawsuits for wrongful death, negligence and/or other fault, either active or passive, personal injury, wrongful death, defamation, false light, violation of right of publicity, invasion of privacy, disclosure of embarrassing private facts, fraud, breach of contract, infringement of copyright, and negligent or intentional infliction of emotional distress.

16. Jurisdiction

The validity, interpretation and legal effect of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Canada.
